Permit me this small space upon which I will vent my final words.
I have quit WoW and quit my Guild, though not necessarily in that order. One action facilitated the other as one would say; Sacrificed is WoW. I can't imagine one without the other. My friends are there, all my fondest memories are there, my loyalty still dwells there, even though that love is but a shallow puddle of the ocean that once was.
If I don't want to be in Sacrificed, I don't want to play WoW.
I never thought I'd actually want to leave this guild, but there you go. I have a bracelet engraved with its name, and it makes me wonder if I'll ever wear it again. It makes me sad even though I am past shedding tears. It's not worth the heartache.
I have heard the often repeated phrase raid leaders and those in power like to chant like a mantra "No One is Irreplaceable." They hold it before them like a shield.
It makes sense to me and I have lived my WoW lifetime by this. No one is so special that they can hold a guild to hostage. No one person, not the main tank, not a healer, not your number #1 dps is so important that they are the exception to the rule.
Yet no one even seems to whisper the alternate "Don't Take Loyalty for Granted." I know I am replaceable. And yet, I'd have to wonder, will you find someone else who'll stick by you for another 3-4 years?
My final message to my guild, placed here on the pedestal for anyone bored or lost enough to pass by:
It seems you think I am overreacting. I find this humorous to say the least, so let me put it into words that you might understand.
You have a girlfriend who cheats on you. You don't find this from her, but you find out from your friend. When you go to confront her, she bursts into indignation.
"How dare you judge me."
"I only cheated because you were never around."
"I have needs. You drove me to do it."
"It's not my fault, maybe if you did what I asked I wouldn't have done it."
"It's the first time I've done it. If you love me, you would forgive me."
Now, I don't know about you, but I'm not a bitch. I don't take kindly to getting fucked in the ass.
If my significant other cheated me on me, I'd dump him and be done with it. The ONLY thing that might make me reconsider is how he reacts. He knows he messed up. Sincere apology for what it's worth. Promise to never do it again. What I'm not looking for is is excuses and how it's really my fault he cheated on me.
I was hurt and disappointed by your actions, o dear guild of mine. But what drive me to gquit was how you, the ones I hold responsible for this, responded to my claims. In EXACTLY the same manner as the girl who does not realise cheating is wrong.
I don't know what to say to you. You, honest to God, don't think you did anything wrong. That's why you give me excuses. That's why you act defensive. That's why you throw snark and try to sidetrack my claims. That's why you think I'm overreacting.
How do you try and convince a girlfriend that cheating is wrong? How do I try and convince you that what you did was wrong? I really don't know. I don't think I can. Our core values are so different and incompatible that maybe all I can do is walk away.
And walk away I shall.

An experiment of sorts. Haven't worked out what is gonna be here.
Lifegrip MADNESS

Yesterday me and a fellow priest attempted something that may have spelled the end of Azeroth as we knew it... again. Much like those crazy physicists and their Large Hadron Collider - Performing this experiment may result in the destruction of the world... In the name of science!
We lifegripped each other. At the same time.
Nothing happened other than we switched places - which could turn into some crazy shit where you leap off the Death Elevator, a fellow priest attempts to grip you to safety and then you troll them by gripping them back at the same time, thus pulling said priest to their death - IF ONLY I HAD THE REFLEXES OF A CAT AND THE FORESIGHT OF PROFESSOR X.
Now I'm thinking if we could get like a huge circle of priests we could do this crazy shit where we like .. spin.
This idea sounded so much cooler in my head where the spell didn't have a two minute cooldown.

Feelin' like a failure
Ugh, still feel so shit about last night's raid.
You can tell me to dispel and I'll do it instantly. You can tell me not to dispel and I can do that fine.
Tell me to dispel exactly 3.79 seconds later and I just completely fall over.
MUST WASH... STINK OF FAILURE... OFF ME.

This is the hilt of Quel'Delar, blade of the Sunborn, the Quel'dorei, the Light-Blessed. It has the potential to heal my divided people, mend the tear brought by despair and soothe the hate that devours our souls. It could broaden our vision, that truly we are more alike than different. We were born from the same seed and share the same history. We are one race, one nation, once united under one kingdom. We can be so again.
This is the sword of peace.
I was a high elf before I was a blood elf. Do not make me murder my own kin... I beg you...
[OOC: I think the reason why I was so distraught by this questline is that I'm metagaming here. Still, you can't force my priest to kill high elves... she just won't do it, regardless of reasons. This is not Kael'thas's fallen elves, they are not conventionally "evil" - they are just different. I'm perpetuating a hate crime here and it's sickening.]
